INTERACTIVE full site requires new window launch

Design Rationale: The site was for a small business specializing in customized-software solutions for physicians. According to my research, physicians as a group are not IT enthusiasts. IT is simply another encroachment on their time. For that reason, I wanted to move away from the typical “geek” look of most tech companies.

Wine Bar & Shop

design rationale: One of the problems, here, was with the layout of the physical building. The wine store was downstairs, the wine bar, on the second floor. It was not readily apparent that the store had a wine bar at all. Consequently, on the website, I wanted to emphasis the upstairs location. The drawing of the shop on the website is similar to the actual layout. When the website loads, a large window displays an animation of photos of the inside of the wine bar, as well as musicians and customers enjoying wine. I did this to convey the fun and eclectic nature of the atmosphere.

design rationale: This site was for a Libertarian organization. I thought they needed strong imagery. I used themes pertinent to complaints typically made against other political parties.
